The DC Barrel Tuner 7.62 / 308 was specially designed for AR-10 rifles and carbines with muzzle thread size 5/8” – 24 UNEF to improve the weapons’ accuracy by reducing the size of the group on the target by attenuating barrel vibration.
This tuner allows the use of other muzzle devices, like flash hider or muzzle break. The tuner nut moves rearward on the barrel. It fits handguards with 1.5 in internal diameter or greater, if the handguard is as long as the barrel.
If a muzzle device is not used, the tuner front cap must remain assembled. It will not fit short barrel, gas piston carbines.
